CloudLibertas
Censorship-resistant cloud storage with an S3-compatible interface. Your data is encrypted, erasure-coded and spread across independent providers — no single operator can read it, block it, or delete it.
The problem with ordinary object storage
Every S3-compatible service asks the same trade: convenience in exchange for custody. Your bucket lives in one provider's account, one region, one set of terms. When the provider changes its pricing, restricts your account, or has an outage, you have no fallback that doesn't involve a migration project.
Censorship resistance is the property that no party can prevent anyone from participating in a platform. In storage terms, that means no single operator sits between you and your own data.
How CloudLibertas is different
CloudLibertas keeps the interface you already use and changes what sits behind it.
- S3-compatible API. Existing SDKs, CLIs and tools work unchanged — point them at a different endpoint.
- Distribution by default. Objects are chunked, erasure-coded and placed across multiple independent backends, including infrastructure you control.
- Encryption you hold. Data is encrypted before it leaves your application, so storage providers hold ciphertext, not content.
- Provider choice at runtime. Adding, removing or replacing a backend is an infrastructure decision, not a rewrite.
What it is built for
Teams that need cloud-grade durability and a standard API, but can't accept a single company as the permanent custodian of their data — regulated workloads, media archives, Web3 applications, and any business that has already been burned by an account suspension or egress bill.
Move a workload onto CloudLibertas.
We'll scope it with you: what you're storing, where it lives now, and what a distributed layout would cost to run.
